Population: 249,000

Founded:  1902

Fun Fact: Frisco Independent School District (ISD) ranks #191 out of 10,394 national school districts on Niche, and is recognized as the #3 best school district in the United States in select national reports.

Frisco has grown from a railroad stop into one of the most dynamic cities in Texas, with pro sports headquarters, major employers and some of North Texas's most desirable neighborhoods.

Why People Are Moving to Frisco

Frisco grew from about 33,600 residents in 2000 to roughly a quarter million today, driven by jobs, amenities and new neighborhoods.

  • Sports and entertainment. The Star (Dallas Cowboys headquarters), PGA of America headquarters, Toyota Stadium and Riders Field make Frisco "Sports City USA."
  • Jobs close to home. Corporate campuses along the Dallas North Tollway and SH-121, plus nearby Legacy in Plano, shorten commutes.
  • Shopping and dining. Stonebriar Centre, Legacy West (next door in Plano) and Frisco Square offer plenty to do.
  • Neighborhood variety. From starter homes to gated estates and 55+ communities, Frisco has options across price points.

Frisco School Districts

Most of Frisco is served by Frisco ISD, but some areas are zoned to Lewisville, Little Elm or Prosper ISD, depending on the address. If schools matter to you, tell me early. I'll confirm the zoned schools for every home before you write an offer.
